Experts discuss future of falconry in Abu Dhabi

The 4th International Falconry Conference which kicked off in Abu saw the participation of global experts and specialists in the history of
falconry and human heritage.
The event saw the launch of a major research project aimed at exploring views of international experts on ‘Old Perceptions of Global Falconry.’
The research includes a survey of the opinions of scientists from various academic disciplines, archaeology, anthropology, and media studies, as well as the experience of the falconers themselves.
It also highlighted an ambitious look at futuristic research projects in the field of falconry, which is
expected to be published in a book
by 2019.
The International Festival of Falconry is currently being held at Khalifa Park in Abu Dhabi and will run until December 9.
