The Emirates Post Group (EPG) discussed cooperation with Universal Postal Union (UPU) in postal field. This came during a meeting between Chairman of EPG, Mohamed Sultan Al-Qadi, and UPU Director-General Bishar Hussein, Regional Coordinator of International Development Programme for African Countries Abdellatif Meskine. The meeting was attended by Chief Support Services Officer at EPG Sami Alkhaja, Acting Chief Commercial Officer Obaid Al Qattami, Director of International Relations Abdullah Saqr Al Suwaidi and some other officials of Group.
Al-Qadi welcomed the delegation highlighting the importance of this meeting that strengthens relationships between member countries in various fields especially postal in order to exchange experiences and find best ways to improve postal sector. Both parties sought ways of development and enhancements of postal cooperation within the context of incremental postal growth in the world and benefit from the global growth of e-commerce.
