The Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation (Empower) exempted customers from paying any transaction fees when they pay online using credit cards, in a bid to increase the efficiency of its services, rationalise costs and enhance reliability in financial transactions.
By targeting its wide range of customers in the residential and commercial sectors, Empower says it seeks primarily through this move to lessen the cost of payments as well as raise the level of transparency in its billing system for customers. The company aims to encourage customers to shift to online payment of bills so as to save time and effort instead of visiting Empower offices. “This move supports the transformation of the Emirate of Dubai to smart services, and it goes in line with the Smart City initiative launched by Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, to ease up government transactions. We aim to save customers’ time and efforts as well as their money by exempting additional fees for using credit cards for payments,” said Ahmad bin Shafar, CEO of Empower.
“We at Empower are exempting additional fees to ensure clients’ satisfaction which is always our priority. We also believe that our responsibility is to ease up the adoption of smart solutions such as online payment in an attempt to ensure speedy access to our services,” he added. A dedicated team from Empower will follow up the results of the online-payment campaign and monitor the rate of customer response. The team will also continue to provide all technical support to ensure the efficiency of the system. This will contribute in increasing the confidence of customers and enhance their adoption to smart systems.
Bin Shafar said that Empower provides its services with high efficiency by deploying best smart solutions available in the market which in turn ensures smooth operations. This achieves a mutually beneficial relationship between Empower and its customers. The company always takes care to launch campaigns and expectedly they get good response from its customers.
This ensures high level of reliability in transactions, he concluded. Empower currently operates more than 1.1 Million RT, providing environmentally responsible district cooling services to large-scale real estate developments, such as Jumeirah Group, Business Bay, Jumeirah Beach Residence, Dubai International Financial Centre, Palm Jumeirah, Jumeirah
