Electronic registration for UMEX, SimTEX 2018 open

Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company (ADNEC), on Monday announced that the electronic registration is open for local and international exhibitors, visitors and media persons wishing to participate in the 2018 editions of Unmanned Systems Exhibition and Conference, UMEX, and Simulation Exhibition and
Conference, SimTEX.
Organised by ADNEC, UMEX and SimTEX 2018 will run from February 25-27, 2018 at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.
In a press statement issued on the occasion, the Higher Organising Committee said that, “As modern defence forces continue to adopt the latest unmanned systems amid the rapidly changing international security environment, UMEX and SimTEX 2018 assume special significance as a unique platform for showcasing the latest technologies and developments in this arena. Additionally, the associated events and conference will attract the high-level participation of many leading international and local experts to highlight the most important developments and successful practices in this vital sector.” Saeed Al Mansouri, Director of IDEX, said, “The upcoming editions of UMEX and SimTEX build on the success we have achieve through our synergy with the General Command of the UAE Armed Forces. We thank the UAE leadership for its sustained support for both UMEX and SimTEX that motivates us to attract and
organise more high profile international events, and deliver on our mandate as a strong contributor to the national economy. “
Al Mansouri expressed his pride in the unique capabilities of ADNEC’s Emirati workforce tasked with the organisation of these high-caliber events. He noted that these Emiratis have lived up to their responsibility in raising the profile of the UAE, while proving that they are real heroes in their respective fields through possessing unique skills and expertise.
He also thanked the entire spectrum of national companies working under the umbrella of UMEX and SimTEX organising committees as well as the events’ partners in the public and private sectors including Abu Dhabi Autonomous Systems Investments, the strategic partner of both events. The e-registration portal is aimed to streamline the registration process in UMEX and SimTEX for international companies and exhibitors, visitors, participants and media representatives wishing to cover the events. The organisers have developed a number of electronic platforms that conform to the highest international standards to ensure hassle-free registration process.
