Dubai logs AED8.1b in weeklong realty deals

A total of 2,574 real estate transactions worth over AED8.1 billion were conducted during the week ending January 13, according to figures released by the Dubai Land Department (DLD).
The DLD data showed 221 plots were sold for AED 1.18 billion, while 1,889 apartment and villa purchases worth
AED4.93 billion were made.
The top three transactions were a land in Jabal Ali First sold for AED46.1 million, followed by a land in Wadi Al Safa 4 sold for AED45.01 million, and a land in Al Thanyah Fourth sold for AED39 million.
Al Hebiah Fifth came in first for the most transactions
for this week recording 112
sales transactions worth AED433.61 million, followed by Al Jadaf with 25 sales transactions worth AED57.53 million, and Jabal Ali First with 21 sales transactions worth AED115 million.
The top three transfers for apartments and villas were an apartment sold for AED125 million in Al Raffa, one sold for AED120 million in Al Jadaf, and another sold for AED116 million in Island 2. The value of mortgaged properties for the week reached AED1.51 billion, while properties granted between first-degree relatives totalled 92 at a value of AED498 million.
