Dubai-based Jebal al Ofoq eyeing major expansion

As the global pandemic has subsided the global market seems bullish. The cosmopolitan city of Dubai which is synonymous with the plush shopping malls, penthouses and real estate activity has returned to normal.
As per the quarterly figures made available by the UAE central bank it is indicated that total real GDP increased by 8.2 percent annually in the first quarter of 2022, a news which was welcomed by the companies like Dubai based company Jebal al Ofoq, General Trading LLC which was established in the year 2015 and is eyeing major expansion in the upcoming few months.
The mega event Expo 2020 Dubai which is the world’s biggest cultural gathering and upcoming Fifa World Cup 2022 which is scheduled to take place from November 20 – December 18 has brought investors from across the globe on a common platform to discuss new avenues for investments and this has added more boost to the UAE’s economic growth with a focus on both oil production and non-oil economic activity working towards increasing the economic prosperity of the country.
Omar Mohammed Mostafa, Founder, Jebal al Ofoq said that the UAE remains a lucrative market for local and global investors. He spoke at length about few of these initiatives which the government has undertaken to attract foreign investment when he said, “the visionary leadership of this country has taken many steps to make UAE a global business hub. Few steps like allowing 100% foreign-owned businesses offering extended visas for entrepreneurs, providing funding and support for smaller businesses and attract international businesses to the region. ”
Answering a question about their expansion plans, was serial entrepreneur Andrea Balaca who is also partner in Jebal al Ofoq Trading and CEO of the brands BLK Boost Digital Marketing, GOLDN Ladies Club and premium suit brand Debonair by Andrea Blk all of which fall under the parent company Jebal al Ofoq said, “We are a leading trading company which is into importing and distributing frozen products across the UAE and are bullish about the expansion. As per our expansion strategy we launched corporate power suit and dress collection under the name Debonair in January 2022. The brand which combines classic corporate styles and tailored silhouettes with a strong, cultural, self-assured and confident attitude walked away with Pret A Porter award at recently concluded Fashion Factor Show.”
