Dubai Land Department (DLD) launched the latest edition of its ‘Trakheesi System’. The edition reflects the continuous efforts made by Dubai Land Department to improve its services, with the introduction of reliable and rapid procedures that will support customers, and promote the use of smart services provided to real estate companies, individuals and investors.
The new development of the system provides all real estate companies with special services including licenses, real estate permits and broker’s cards. It also significantly reduces the time and effort needed by real estate companies to accomplish transactions, eliminating the need to visit the Dubai Land Department offices.
Commenting on the ‘Trakheesi System’, Ali Abdullah Al Ali, Director of the Real Estate Licensing Department at Dubai Land Department said, “This is the next step in the Dubai Land Department’s ongoing development journey and is part of our continued efforts to keep pace with the shift towards delivering smart services. The new system provides brokers with smart cards – enabling operations to run more smoothly than ever before, particularly as the cards reduce the need for brokers to visit the Dubai Land Department. ”
The smart card system will be available to eligible staff in brokerage companies, as well as those involved in other real estate activities related to and including real estate developers companies, management companies and timeshare companies.
Al Ali added, “We look forward to all of our strategic partners cooperating with us, in order to achieve our vision of providing better services to our customers. This innovation will reflect positively on the economy and business of Dubai, supporting the city’s vital real estate sector and helping to attract global investors.â€
The benefits provided by the new system are its special card transactions for brokers, property evaluators, and property management companies. These have reduced the processing time from two working days to five minutes, as approval comes directly from the system rather than from DLD staff. Customers are able to check and verify the broker card data via DLD’s smart application or website. The application supports the vision of the government to shift its public services to smart technology and make Dubai the smartest city in the world – a significant contribution to the happiness and comfort of all residents and visitors.
In addition to reducing the number of customers visiting the department’s offices, the system will act as a catalyst for the completion of smooth and easy transactions, furthering best practices and providing excellent service to customers. The Dubai Land Department aims at achieving excellence and quality in the provision of services and raising customer satisfaction.
These developments work to support Dubai’s leading position on global indicators for its ease of doing business and timely delivery, and the achievement of government objectives related to this issue.
It is noteworthy that the new ‘Trakheesi System’ allows all real estate brokers working in the Emirate to complete their transactions entirely through the official Department’s website, without the need to visit the Land Department offices, as the system serves all real estate license management departments.
