BEEAH, the region’s sustainability pioneer, celebrated the graduation ceremony of the inaugural Future Leadership Programme, a transformative nine-month journey designed to shape future leaders within the organisation.
The ceremony, held at BEEAH’s headquarters, honoured the achievements of 20 participants who completed the programme and received their certificates of completion.
The Future Leadership Programme, co-created with Emeritus, a globally recognised leader in executive education, aims to empower and upskill participants in line with BEEAH’s commitment to innovation, sustainability, and growth.
The programme runs on an annual basis, featuring 14 comprehensive modules on how to develop key leadership areas and skills, including harnessing emotional intelligence, leading organisations through change, leveraging analytics for strategic decisions, nurturing high-performance teams, orchestrating people, teams, and organisations, and keeping pace with Industry 4.0.
Spanning nine-months, the educational journey included 300 hours of classroom instruction and more than 100 hours of online e-learning.
Khaled Al Huraimel, Group CEO and Vice-Chairman of BEEAH, commented, “This initiative closely aligns with our mission to foster innovation and leadership within BEEAH, where we are creating an environment that allows innovation to prosper.”
Adey Zaghab, Executive Vice President – Middle East Turkey & Africa, Emeritus, said, “We are delighted to have been a pivotal part of the successful Future Leadership Development Program for BEEAH. This achievement is a testament to the unwavering support and collaboration from the BEEAH team, the dedication and engagement of the delegates, the expertise of our distinguished faculty, and the content of our global Business School partners.”
Hind Al Huwaidi, Chief Executive Development Officer at BEEAH, stated, “Going forward, we are exploring ways, including through strategic partnerships, to enhance the Future Leadership Programme further by extending its reach to a wider pool of potential participants.” The classroom-based training consisted of an interactive experience incorporating simulations to turn theory into practical knowledge.
This culminated in a group-based capstone project where participants worked together to ideate transformative solutions to challenges that were assigned to them based on BEEAH’s roadmap for the future.
Mentoring sessions were regularly conducted to provide guidance on the capstone projects. Leadership and strategic thinking were showcased in the presentations that followed, which focused on innovative themes, including the future of waste management and achieving net-zero urban environments through technological integration.
The collaboration with Emeritus ensured the executives access to a wealth of resources from prestigious world-renowned institutions such as MIT, Columbia Business School, Tuck Executive Education, and NUS Business School.
Of the 20 senior executives who successfully graduated from the Future Leadership Programme, a 95% satisfaction rate was reported.
