Dubai Chamber to send high-level trade mission to Italy and France

The Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry has finalised its preparations to lead a high-level trade delegation to the Italian Riviera and southern France July 3-7 in cooperation with the UAE Ministry of Economy. The trade mission will cover Genoa, Monaco, and Nice, where a 20-member delegation from the UAE will meet with representatives from the public and private sectors and explore trade and investment opportunities.
The delegation will be headed by H.E. Eng. Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansoori, UAE Minister of Economy, and joined by H.E. Majid Saif Al Ghurair, Chairman of Dubai Chamber, H.E. Hamad Buamim, President and CEO, Dubai Chamber; H.E. Eng. Mohammed Al Shehhi, Undersecretary for Economic Affairs – UAE Ministry of Economy, H.E. Jamal Al Hai, Deputy CEO, Dubai Airports, and Mr. Abdulla Qassem, Chairman, Network International.
The trade mission will begin in Genoa where delegates will meet with Giovanni Toti, Governor of Italy’s Liguria region and a select group of Italian businessmen to discuss new avenues of economic cooperation. The delegation will then visit Monaco and hold meetings with the Monaco Economic Board, the Monaco Tourism Board, and Monaco Inter Expo.
Delegates will make a final stop in Nice to participate in the Innovation City 2017 conference which will focus on breakthrough trends and technologies such as blockchain, smart data, smart grids, innovative transport solutions, and waste management. During their stay, delegates will meet with the French Riviera Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Nice Municipality. In addition, the delegation will visit the Eco-Vallée, a future science and technology park, and get a first-hand look at new eco-building and innovative healthcare projects in the French city.
