Director of Foreign Trade and Export Support at the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development, Adeeb Al Afifi, said European countries accounted for 40.7 per cent of all foreign direct investment in the emirate of Abu Dhabi in 2014. He was speaking before representatives of the European Union, Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council, the German Emirati Joint Council for Industry and Commerce and Daman, Abu Dhabi’s health insurance company, during a symposium about the European market.
