The Centre of Waste Management – Abu Dhabi, Tadweer, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Universal Hospital, which aims to raise awareness of the staff about work related health risks through medical and awareness campaigns.
The MoU, signed by Eisa Saif Al Qubaisi, General Manager of Tadweer, and Hamad Ahmad Al Hosani, CEO of Universal Hospital, in the presence of several officials from both entities, stipulates that Tadweer implements a project in order to visit some of its facilities and conduct a comprehensive medical assessment. In addition, it includes the distribution of brochures and manuals on health awareness to all staff in order to achieve the objectives of the project.
Universal Hospital commits to allocate a qualified medical team and provide relevant equipment for the implementation of the project. The team will conduct a range of medical examinations that will include blood pressure, blood sugar, body mass index, BMI, and cholesterol. In addition, recommendations and a comprehensive medical evaluation will be sent to Tadweer’s facilities and staff.
