Sheikh Khalifa affirms support, solidarity with Tunisian president

President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has sent a letter to President Kais Saied of Tunisia, addressing bilateral relations and ways to enhance them, as well as issues of mutual interest.
The letter was delivered by Dr Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, the Diplomatic Advisor to President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa, during his meeting with the Tunisian President at Carthage Palace in Tunis.
Gargash conveyed to President Saied the greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan; His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai; and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces. He praised the historic and deep-rooted fraternal ties between the UAE and Tunisia and reiterated the UAE’s solidarity with Tunisia at this juncture.
Gargash said the UAE is looking forward to deepening cooperation with Tunisia.

He added the UAE supports all efforts to enhance Tunisia’s security and stability and pointed out that all internal affairs in Tunisia are viewed as sovereign issues.

Gargash expressed his confidence that Tunisia will be able to successfully address all current economic, health and institutional issues. He also urged the international community to stand by Tunisia to overcome economic and health challenges.
