ADM announces launch of its ‘renew farm licence’ online hub

The Department of Urban Planning and Municipalities at the Abu Dhabi City Municipality has announced the launch of its “Renew Farm Licence” online hub, as part of its digital transformation of municipal services.
The technology committee at the Department of Urban Planning and Municipalities is progressing ahead with the digital with the aim of achieving 100 percent transformation of all municipal services by the end of this year.
Salim Rashid Al Kutbi, Head of Rural Farms Streamlining Committee said that citizens can now renew their licences, especially of rural farms, without visiting the municipal office. “Clients can just log on to the Smart Hub of the department and obtain all their needs in a hassle-free manner. The hub also provides citizens with a full database about the conditions of using rural farms and obtaining permits in this regard,” he explained.
Ahmed Abdul Samad Al Hamadi, Director of IT Planning at the Abu Dhabi City Municipality, said that all community members interested in availing digital services are required to register just once in the unified Smart Pass.

The department continues to make regular progress in the digital transformation of its services with over 84.7 percent of its services currently digitised, Al Hamadi added.
