Emirates Post, Fujairah free zone ink e-connectivity pact

Emirates Post and Fujairah Free Zone (FFZ) have signed a cooperation agreement to integrate services and activities across common divisions in efforts to provide enhanced services to investors within the free zone.
It aims to improve the quality of postal services provided to the authority’s customers and partners by harnessing e-connectivity across combined functions.
The agreement was signed by Obaid Mohammed Al Qatami, Acting Chief Commercial Officer at Emirates PostGroup; and Sharief Habib Al Awadhi, Director-General of Fujairah Free Zone Authority, at Fujairah Pavilion on the sidelines of GITEX Technology Week 2018.
Al Qatami said, “As part of Emirates Post’s commitment to supporting corporations and providing the communications framework required to facilitate their business gro-wth, we have enhanced our postal service offering with Fujairah Free Zone. Automating the processes and integrating our systems will streamline transactions and provide ad-ded convenience to investors within the free zone. We are also keen on providing special offers and packages to employees and customers throughout the free zone.”
