Sheikha Hessa bint Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, mother of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, passed away on Sunday.
The President receives condolence messages from UAE Rulers, world leaders and other prominent personalities on the passing away of his mother.
Sultan bin Zayed
His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President’s Representative, offered his condolences on the death of Sheikha Hessa bint Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Nahyan. Sheikh Sultan expressed his deepest condolences to President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa, asking Allah Almighty to rest her soul in Paradise.
In separate statements issued on Sunday, the UAE Rulers expressed their deep condolences to President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa on the passing away of Sheikha Hessa.
Sharjah Ruler
In a statement issued by the Sharjah Ruler’s Court, His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, extended his sincere condolences to President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa, and the Al Nahyan family, asking Allah Almighty to rest her soul in Paradise.
Ajman Ruler
His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, expressed his sincere condolences to HH Sheikh Khalifa and the entire Al Nahyan family, asking Allah Almighty to grant them patience and solace to bear their loss, and to rest the deceased in peace.
Fujairah Ruler
His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, extended his sincere condolences to His Highness Sheikh Khalifa, the Al Nahyan family, and the people of the UAE, praying to Allah Almighty to rest her soul in peace.
Umm Al Qaiwain Ruler
His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mu’alla, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Umm Al
Qaiwain, also expressed his sincere condolences to President Khalifa and the entire Al Nahyan family. He also asked God Almighty to accept the deceased in Paradise.
Ras Al Khaimah Ruler
His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, extended his sincere condolences to His Highness Sheikh Khalifa, the Al Nahyan family and the people of the UAE, praying to Allah the Almighty to rest her soul in peace.
The statements from the all the emirates declared a three-day mourning period, during which UAE flags will be flown at half-mast.

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra Region extended his deep condolences to President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the entire Al Nahyan family, praying to Allah Almighty to rest her soul in peace.

Heritage Festival postpones
The Supreme Organising Committee of the Sultan bin Zayed Heritage Festival has declared the postponement of festival’s activities for three days.
Mansour Saeed Amhy Al Mansouri, Chairman of the Media Committee and Member of the Supreme Organising Committee, said the festival will cease operating for three days, but will
resume on January 31.
He also offered his sincerest condolences, on his behalf and on behalf of the centre, the committee and the Emirates Heritage Club, to President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed.
Mohamed offers condolences on death of Ali Musabah Al Ketbi

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, offered condolences on the death of Ali Musabah Al Ketbi while visiting the mourning majlis in Al Ain on Sunday.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed expressed his heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased. He also prayed to Allah Almighty to rest his soul in peace and grant patience and solace to his family.
Along with His Highness Sheikh Mohamed, condolences were also offered by Dr. Ahmed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Secretary General of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council.
