World leaders condemn Houthi militia attack on Abu Dhabi

UN secretary general Antonio Guterres condemned the Houthi militia attack, which targeted civil facilities in UAE and resulted in a number of deaths and injuries. The UN spokesman said in the daily briefing that such attacks are prohibited by international humanitarian law.
The United States also strongly condemned Houthi militia terrorist attack in the UAE, which targeted civil facilities and led to the death and injury of civilians.
In a statement, the US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan said: “Our commitment to the security of the UAE is unwavering and we stand beside our Emirati partners against all threats to their territory.”
Mohamed Ould Ghazouani, President of Mauritania, has reiterated his country’s strong condemnation and denunciation of the drone attacks, which were carried out by the terrorist Houthi militia on civil facilities in the UAE and led to the death of three civilians and left several injured.
In a phone call he made to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, the Mauritanian president expressed his deepest condolences to families of victims and his wishes of a speedy recovery for injured.
Ghazouani reiterated Mauritania’s full solidarity with the UAE, and its support of any action that UAE may take to ensure its security and defend itself against terrorist attacks.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed expressed his deep thanks and appreciation for the sincere feelings expressed by the Mauritanian President and his country’s support of the UAE, and his wishes of undisturbed peace for the Mauritania and its people.

Chairman of Sudan’s Sovereign Transitional Council affirms solidarity with UAE over Houthi terrorist attacks
General Abdel Fattah Al Burhan Abdelrahman, Chairman of Sudan’s Sovereign Transitional Council, condemned the terrorist attacks by the terrorist Houthi militia on civil facilities in the UAE, which resulted in a number of fatalities and injuries.
This came during a telephone conversation with His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, wherein Al-Burhan offered his condolences to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed over the victims of the terrorist attacks, and wished speedy recovery for the injured.
He affirmed Sudan’s standing by the UAE against all those who target its security and stability.
Al-Burhan briefed Sheikh Mohamed on the developments in Sudan and the ongoing efforts to address the political crisis and complete the structures of the transitional period.
For his part, Sheikh Mohamed thanked General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan for his sincere feelings and support, wishing Sudan and its people stability and peace.

Iraqi president condemns Houthi terrorist attacks on UAE
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, received a phone call from President of Republic of Iraq Dr. Barham Ahmed Salih who expressed his strong condemnation of the heinous terrorist attacks carried out by the terrorist Houthi militia on civil facilities in the UAE and resulted in a number of deaths and injuries.
He emphasised Iraq’s support for and solidarity with the UAE and utter rejection of any threat to its security and sovereignty.
The Iraqi president also offered his condolences to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed over for the victims of these criminal attacks, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured.
For his part, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed thanked the Iraqi president for his stance and sincere feelings, praying to Allah Almighty to save Iraq from evil and harm.

Aboul Gheit affirms solidarity with UAE in phone call with Abdullah bin Zayed
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received a phone call from Arab League Secretary-General, Ahmed Aboul Gheit.
During the phone call, Aboul Gheit expressed the Arab League’s condemnation and denunciation of the terrorist attack by the terrorist Houthi militia on civil areas and facilities in the UAE.
He also reiterated the Arab League’s full solidarity with the UAE government against these terrorist attacks, which come as evidence of this terrorist militia’s goals of threating security and destabilising the region.
He further highlighted the UAE’s status as global champion of peace, and his confidence in the UAE’s ability to thwart such cowardly attempts to threaten its security.

Pakistan’s FM condemns Houthi attack
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, also received a phone call from Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Pakistan’s Foreign Minister.
During the phone call, Qureshi expressed Pakistan’s condemnation and denunciation of the terrorist attack by the terrorist Houthi militia on civil areas and facilities in the UAE, which led to the death of a number of civilians.
He also reiterated Pakistan’s full solidarity with the leadership, government and people of the UAE.
Qureshi added that these terrorist crimes are a threat to international peace and security

Indian foreign minister condemns Houthi attack
HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received a phone call from India’s Minister for External Affairs, Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar.
During the phone call, Dr Jaishankar expressed India’s strong condemnation and denunciation of the terrorist attack by the terrorist Houthi militia on civil areas and facilities in the UAE.
He also reiterated India’s full solidarity with the leadership, government and people of the UAE, highlighting the strong ties that their countries share.

Muslim Council of Elders condemns Houthi attack on civil facilities in UAE
The Muslim Council of Elders strongly condemned the terrorist attack that targeted civil facilities in the UAE capital, Abu Dhabi, which led to three civilian casualties as well as several injuries.
Comprising His Eminence Dr Ahmed Al-Tayeb, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, its distinguished members as well as its Secretary-General, the Council affirmed its complete solidarity and support with the United Arab Emirates against those that target its security and stability. The Council stressed that the treacherous attack comes on the back of the Houthi militia’s defeats on the ground. During the phone call, El Mangoush expressed Libya’s strong condemnation and denunciation of the terrorist attack by the terrorist Houthi militia on civil areas and facilities in the UAE. She also reiterated Libya’s full solidarity with the leadership, government and people of the UAE.

Comoros condemns Houthi terrorist attack on civil facilities in UAE
The Government of Comoros has condemned the terrorist attack by the Houthi militia on facilities and civil areas in the UAE, which resulted in a number of fatalities and injuries.
In a statement, the Comoran government said the heinous attack has revealed the evil intentions of the Houthi terrorist militia, which contravene all religious and human values and principles.

He also offered his support to Abu Dhabi. In a statement, the French presidency said, “The President strongly condemns the attacks on Abu Dhabi, and offers his support to the United Arab Emirates.”
Earlier, the French Foreign Minister, Jean-Yves Le Drian, had expressed France’s strong condemnation of “these attacks that threaten the security of the UAE’s territory and the region’s stability”.

EU condemns Houthi drone attack in UAE
Peter Stano, Lead Spokesperson for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy at the European Union (EU) said that the EU strongly condemns the cross-border drone attack claimed by Yemeni movement Ansar Allah against fuel tank storage facility near Abu Dhabi International Airport.
In a statement, Stano said that “attacks against civilians and civilian infrastructure are unacceptable”.
He added, “The latest attack increases the risk of further escalation of the Yemen conflict and undermines ongoing efforts to end the war.
“There can only be a political resolution to the conflict in Yemen. The EU calls for restraint to avoid further escalation. Furthermore, the EU urges all parties to engage with the UN Special Envoy to achieve an end to the fighting and a comprehensive and inclusive political agreement.”

Houthi attack on UAE is a grave threat that seeks to destabilise region: Germany
The Federal Foreign Office of Germany has condemned the attack, which was carried out by the Houthi terrorist militia on civilian facilities in the UAE and led to the death of a number of civilians.

He also offered condolences to the UAE over the victims of this cowardly terrorist act and wished a speedy recovery to the injured.

Costa Rica expresses its condolences to families of Houthi attack victims
Costa Rica has condemned the terrorist Houthi attacks on civil facilities and areas in the UAE on Monday.
“Costa Rica strongly condemns the perpetuated attack on civilians and infrastructure that has caused three unfortunate deaths and injured civilians in Abu Dhabi, and condemns the use of violence and terrorism by those who perpetrated this vicious attack,” said a statement issued by the Costa Rican Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“Being respectful to human rights, the peaceful resolution of conflicts and multilateralism, the Republic of Costa Rica expresses its solidarity with the people and government of the United Arab Emirates, and wishes for peace and stability to prevail.”
The government of the Republic of Costa Rica expresses its condolences to the families of the deceased, the statement added.

World parliament speakers, members condemn Houthi militia attack on civil facilities in UAE
Speakers and members of national parliaments from around the world have condemned the terrorist Houthi attacks on civil facilities and areas in the UAE, which led to the death of a number of civilians.
They also expressed their deepest condolences to the UAE and the families of the victims, and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
