After having firmly entrenched itself in the French market, Jaupin Eyewear, a name that is synonymous with bespoke glasses handcrafted and designed specially for your face has forayed into the UAE market. Jaupin Eyewear is eyeing major expansion in the upcoming few months.
As per the figures made available by MarkNtel Advisors, the UAE luxury eyewear market is anticipated to grow at a CAGR of around 4.2% during 2022-27.
Jerome Aupin, Founder, Jaupin Eyewear said that the UAE remains a lucrative market for the eyewear segment and the government has undertaken steps to attract foreign investment.
He said, “The visionary leadership of this country has taken many steps to make the UAE a global business hub. Few steps like allowing 100% foreign-owned businesses offering extended visas for entrepreneurs, providing funding and support for smaller businesses and attracting international businesses to the region. This has led to the entrepreneurs like me to come and explore the luxury eyewear market in the UAE.”
Speaking about his luxury collection Jerome added, “All our designs are hand crafted to perfection. A bespoke acetate eyeglasses starts from AED4600, Buffalo horn from AED7000 upwards and our IRIS sunglasses, ready to wear limited edition studded with swarovski crystals for AED2500 upwards.”
Answering questions about his expansion plans, Jerome said, “We are bullish about the expansion in the coming few months and have tied up with Rivoli Group for their Avanti Boutiques.”
We will be having our counter inside their showrooms. Our company plans to open showrooms in Saudi Arabia and Qatar by 2023, where we will display our collections dedicated for the Middle Eastern Region.”
